This Reddish Egret was captured fishing on Tigertail Beach, Marco Island, FL on 31 January 2012. One of the most amusing sights is the reddish egret fishing. Whereas other heron and egrets stay very still until a fish comes and then they strike, reddish egrets rush up and down the shallows, stopping to fish for a few moments before rushing off again.
