This is a frozen Lochan na h'Achlaise in the West Highlands of Scotland, the mountain in the background, behind the point of the small island tree, is the Clach Leathad. It was minus 5 up on the moor today with the wind chill taking it down to about minus 10. So, the debate is how do you pronounce Lochan na h'Achlaise. I have heard numerous variations over the years, some sound like 'alice', some like 'aklayse', I pronounce it Lochan Naklasha. Over to you.....
