The small fauna or more durable parts of larger creatures at Miguasha are of exceptional quality. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bothriolepis Miguasha Provincial Park (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) lies on the south side of the Gaspe Peninsula, Quebec. It is considered to be one of the world's most important paleontological sites for fossils. For instance, 5 out 6 major fish groups of the Devonian are found here, including 1000s of Bothriaolepsis. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miguasha_National_Park Poor swimmers, armored placoderms are the only extinct major group of fishes not around today.
