Ben More (left) and Stob Binnein (right) tower above the village of Crianlarich in the area of the Arrochar Alps in central Scotland. This was a chance photograph taken when returning from a disappointing day's photography in the Glencoe area of the West Highlands when, despite the Met Office forecast of bright blue skies and sunshine, the clouds and mist never lifted and I spent a freezing 6 hours moving from mountain top to mountain top in the hope of a good photo. I liked the Scots Pine tree in the foreground adding some interest to the scene.
