Stevenston High Kirk, The side of the steeple and part of the front of the Church. This memorial mentions Revd James Cruickshank who became Minister at the High Kirk as a result of the Disruption of 1843 when the previous Minister, Rev'd David Landsborough, along with 450 other Ministers in the Church of Scotland, broke away to form the Free Church of Scotland. I liked the different textures of the worn sandstone, the smooth, shiny marble and the coarse mortar.
