Het restant van de Donjon. De woontoren van het "kasteel" van Daniël Daniëlz van de Merwede. Het kasteel is gebouwd in 1300. Het tweede deel is gebouwd in 1350. Tijdens het beleg van Dordrecht in 1418, door Jan van Brabant, is een deel van het kasteel al geruïneerd. Tijdens de St Elisabeths-vloed van 1421 kwam het geheel in het water van de Merwede te liggen.
