This is the second year Girl and I participated in the Thanksgiving Day Run to Feed the Hungry. Since we showed up just as the race was starting, we were way at the back. It was a crowded mix of walkers, strollers, joggers and runners the whole 5 km. We were able to run some of it, particularly at the end, but we still had a pathetic time. That’s okay, still burned some calories to compensate for tonight’s feast.
