Here’s some video from my Sony RX10 iii. This camera has a 24-600 zoom range with essentially the same image quality as my RX100 iii, which goes 24-70. It also has much better video capability, on par with the RX100 iv. I know, it’s confusing. In this clip I shot a little mountain stream at 30 fps, then at 240 and finally at 480. The camera will go to 960. In these slo-mo modes, you can only shoot a few seconds of video. But this will stretch out time-wise when played back at 30 fps. One neat thing is that you can record video of what already happened before you press the button. This is possible because the camera buffers the stream. It makes it very easy to capture interesting stuff that you knew was about to happen but didn’t know when. I’m very happy with this camera.
