This was taken on the shore of the Ozette Reservation, just north of Cape Alava. You can see Point of Arches about six miles to the north. The water is very muddy here. This would make a nice two-day hike, starting at Ozette and walking the 3.4 miles to the beach, then eight miles north to Point of the Arches, 2.5 miles farther along Shi-Shi Beach, and then two miles to the parking lot at the south end of the Makah Reservation. There's a river ford and a couple of short overland treks that involve fixes ropes on approach and descent.
