Look how happy these happy people look on their happy boat. Soon that will be me. My new insulin pump arrived today; my current one is 4 years old and Dangerously Out of Warranty. This new one has some cool features, including the option fort continuous glucose monitoring. Even with health insurance, I'm gonna be out $1600 (these puppies go for 6 or 7 grand) but it is oh so worth it. And it makes me wonder about people who cant come up with the funds to ge the appropriate medical treatments. There is sometihng majorly foobar with the oxymoron of "health care". But I'm ready to try on the new gizmo tomorrow, and oh, will I be so happy.
