Erskine Bridge over the River Clyde, Scotland, from Bowling Harbour. The weather forecast for this morning was for dull overcast conditions. Ever the optimist, the Suncalc App on my phone told me that 'if' the sun did rise it would do so directly over the bridge and line up with the river so I set out for Bowling Harbour in the vain hope that I might get a good shot. The dawn was spectacular. 15 minutes later and it was gone. My motto is: 'If you don't try - you don't get'.
