@dailyshoot 2011/03/21: What reminds you of home? Make a photograph of it today. #ds491 I blogged about memories frmo the music in the basement of the house I grew up in, and it reminded me of the mini version of what was a floor to ceiling set of shelves in the old house- in my little house it is a short bookshelf. But most of these are books from the shelves in the house I grew up in- the Worlds Greatest Thinkers set, the O. Henry collection, and the Kipling's Best with the elephant icon. I am pretty sure I picked up Steinbeck and the other Kipling in a thrift store.
