@dailyshoot: 2010/07/23: Double your art today. Make a photo of something you've created or crafted. #ds250 "Craft" might be a stretch, but these are two CD-ROMs created in the late 1990s when I was in my heydey of development using Marcromedia Director. Hey, anyone remember DirectorWeb? That was my creation too. Both of these CDs are coasters because they wont play on a modern computer. On the left was a CD I made for my parent's 50th anniversary in 2000. I was proud of both the finished piece and the template structure I created under the hood. It was full of old family photos (scanned) and digitized videos from our silent super 8 library of Levines at the beach. And on the right was maybe the most complicated things I wrote, a gamelike environment (with the navigation swiped from Myst) designed to explore one of the difficult concepts in Introductory Psychology. A student assistant crafted the 3D sets in Strata 3D. While the CD is not playable, there is an online version that still works, when I recasted the entire package using Shockwave.
