Energy. Everything it is. We are a fluctuation from it, a manifestation of it, as well as all what we can imagine is. What we need to keep us us - in the way we know us - we receive from the sun. But not directly. Not on the straight way. Too easy it would be. Plants take a bath in sunrays as long as they can. They take water, take carbon dioxide, they mix all together and the energy of sunrays transforms into carbohydrate. A part becomes cellulose which plants use to grow form, grow structure. Another part becomes starch, on which we depend. As remains they spill out oxygen in this process and we are thankful for that, we are. We can eat that energy, that starch. Or we wait longer, let for instance a cow eat it and take it then from the cow, in form of meat or milk. To transform the energy, now in form of glucose again back into the energy our cell needs to be a cell, it needs again the ingredient from the beginning of this story - oxygen. So we breathe to transport oxygen to the cell. And now, in the cell, we have them all together again. Oxygen and glucose get mashed together and as remains - magically - the cell produces carbon dioxide and water. And it receives as greatest gift from the sun a part of it´s energy. So that we can be. So let me ask again: “What would without wood?”
