On returning home from Glencoe I learned the tragic news that two experienced climbers had been killed on these mountains not far from where I was. Their bodies were recovered by Glencoe Mountain Rescue Team (GMRT). One of the climbers who died was a member of GMRT. GMRT are all volunteers, experienced climbers, and the Team exist solely on charitable donations, saving the lives and rescuing dozens of people in the Glencoe mountains each year.
