Part of a set of photos that I took on a freak winters day in Cairngorm on the banks of Loch Morlich Aviemore in Scotland. Flat calm and bitterly cold but with the Cairngorm Plateau being devoid of snow. An image it is obviously in three sections so the focus was for the mid point, with the rocks providing a convenient lead in.
