The remote Camas Fhionnairigh (Camasunary) on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. Story behind the photo: My mate Andy and I hiked several miles into Camasunary over Am Mam on the Elgol peninsula hoping to ford the river at the end of the bay to climb the Sgurr na Stri mountain, for an overnight wild camp to photograph the Cuillin Mountains. Although the weather forecast said sunshine and light rain, the reality was stormy conditions and on arrival the river was chest deep in places and in spate. We camped on the beach. A storm hit during the night flattening our tents, and the weather was truly 'dreich'. On the way up and out in the morning the sun lit up the bay for a short period of time. The track up the hill on the way out, which had been dry the previous day, was now a three mile long waterfall and we got a wee bit wet. The mountains in the background are Sgurr na Stri and the Black Cuillins with the Island of Soay to the left. Adventures like this are character building so I'm told. When I dry out, I'll let you know.
