This photo was taken from the summit of Ben Gullipen in the Trossachs area of Scotland, looking across Loch Venachar as the sun sets over Ben Venue and the mountains beyond. The haze is actually sheets of rain being illuminated from behind by the setting sun. Ben Gullipen is a relatively uninteresting mountain to climb but the views from the top at this time of year with the sun setting down the loch make the effort worth it.
