Forest of hemlocks and white pines at the spring-fed headwaters of Morris Run, Tioga County, within the Reynolds Spring Natural Area of Tioga State Forest. Found along the Reynolds Spring Trail, this small tract of forest contains a handful of giant old-growth white pines. Forked trunks and other defects may have spared the trees from the logging that overtook the area more than a century ago.
