You can find these shamanic poles near Shaman´s rock on Olkhon, an island of Lake Baikal. Shamanism is still playing its role in this area. If you travel back in time you may discover, that Shamanism was the dominant pre-religious practice for humanity during the Palaeolithic. It is just too far away for us western culture subscription members to still feel it, although some of us do feel the rays of fascination this topic emits.
